Volkswagen back on its throne

European market of new car decreased again in October as sales in lightweight fell by 7.3%. Even though WLTP norm remains the number 1 reason of these losses, some companies have come to meet with success again. By the way this decrease is yet lighter than in September (-23.5%).
PSA who anticipated the new norm got positive results in sales of Peugeot (+2.2%) and Citroën (+4.7%).
The group even passed over Volkswagen in October on the European market. But the German brand who sold about 225,415 vehicles last month came back on its throne.
However 2018 won't be remembered as a good year for VW who have seen its sales going down by 14.8% in Europe.
